TNT to Earth's Core Map and Systems: Layers, Rebirths & the Core

The world map is a ten-step vertical ladder — basic stone through Starcore to the Lava core — documented by official badges, plus the unlock, rebirth, and milestone systems around it.

Quick answer: one vertical world, four systems

The map is a single descent. Ten official Reach badges name the route — basic stone (Layer 1) down through cobblestone, andesite, tuff, basalt, and Deepslate, past Voidstone and Starcore, ending at the Lava core. Around that world run four systems: the explosive unlock ladder (27 named TNTs), the rare-ore collecting loop, a badge/milestone layer that doubles as the game's de facto changelog, and a rebirth system the title started advertising between October 1 and October 3, 2026. Servers hold up to 16 players, and the game sits in Roblox's Simulation — Incremental Simulator genre.

Layer names, badge text, and how many players had reached each layer at the checked date. Source: official Roblox badge layer, checked 2026-10-03.

MilestoneLayer name (official)Official badge textPlayers awarded
Layer 1Basic stone"Just basic stone!"738,536
Layer 2Cobblestone"Just some cobblestone!"277,505
Layer 3Andesite"Just some andesite!"95,917
Layer 4Tuff"Just some tuff, this is pretty tough!"57,260
Layer 5Basalt"Getting down to basalt!"42,445
Layer 6Deepslate"Now we are at Deepslate!"35,715
Layer 7(unnamed in the badge)"Reach the very last layer!"31,410
Layer 8Voidstone"Into the Voidstone!"28,109
Layer 9Starcore"Starcore, the very last layer!"24,872
The coreLava"Now you are at the Earth's core!"35,576

Two facts worth reading off the table. First, the drop-off is steep: 738,536 players hold Layer 1, but 24,872 had reached Starcore and 35,576 the Lava core at the checked date — most sessions happen in the top four layers. Second, the map grows: Layer 7's badge was created on September 3, 2026 calling it "the very last layer"; the October 1, 2026 update added Layers 8 and 9 and moved the "very last layer" label to Starcore. The Reach Lava badge marks the Earth's core itself.

System 1

The digging and unlock loop

The loop the official description promises, in order.

Dig with explosives

Progress comes from setting off your current TNT to clear terrain downward. Each blast has an observed clearance — how much depth it removed — which is the number your own notes should track. Nothing about clearance per blast is published; the game wants you to feel each new TNT's difference yourself.

Unlock the next TNT

The unlock ladder runs 27 names long, from Dirt TNT ("your very first TNT") to Singularity TNT ("this one swallows the world!"). Requirements and prices are not published — the in-game unlock screen is the deciding reference — but the official award counters show the ladder's pacing: over half a million players hold Dirt TNT, 334 had Blackhole TNT.

Collect rare ores

The description's second promise is "dig deeper and deeper to find rare ores". Ores are the collecting and (by the badge evidence) milestone layer of the economy. Names, rarity, and values are not published; the ores reference covers how to record your own yields.

Rebirth

The [Rebirths!] title suffix, live by October 3, 2026, confirms the reset system exists. What it resets, what it costs, and what multiplier it grants are all unpublished. The safe sequence: read the in-game rebirth screen in full, and compare any shared claim about rebirth multipliers against that screen before believing it.

System 2

Milestones as the changelog

This creator ships no patch notes; the badge layer is where updates are announced.

Both of the game's documented content drops arrived as badges: the September 3, 2026 layer added the first 30 badges (the welcome badge, 21 TNT unlock badges, and Reach Layers 1–7 plus Lava), and the October 1, 2026 update added eight more (six TNTs plus Layers 8 and 9). When you want to know whether the game changed, the badges page on the official Roblox listing answers faster than any wiki — the full dated timeline is on the updates page.

Practical map reading

What this means for your next run

Turn the layer names into run planning.

  1. 1. Name your current layer from your depth — it is the label every other decision hangs on.
  2. 2. Set the next layer as your target: "reach Deepslate this session" is a concrete, badge-verified goal.
  3. 3. Plan the TNT budget for that leg with the core-run calculator from your own clearance notes.
  4. 4. After the session, compare where you landed against the award counters — they show what a typical player reaches, so you know whether your pace is ahead of or behind the curve.
FAQ

Map and system questions

How many layers are in TNT to Earth's Core?

Nine numbered layers plus the core, all named by official badges: basic stone, cobblestone, andesite, tuff, basalt, Deepslate, an unnamed Layer 7, Voidstone, and Starcore, with the Reach Lava badge marking the Earth's core itself. Layers 8 and 9 were added by the October 1, 2026 update.

What is at the bottom of the map?

The Earth's core. The official Reach Lava badge says "Now you are at the Earth's core!" — so the journey ends at lava, below Layer 9's Starcore. 35,576 players held that badge at the October 3, 2026 check.

Does the game have rebirths?

Yes. The live Roblox title read "TNT to Earth's Core! [Rebirths!]" on October 3, 2026; the title had no such suffix in the August 25 snapshot. No rebirth cost, reset scope, or multiplier has been published, so the in-game rebirth screen is the deciding reference.

How deep is each layer?

The badges name the layers but not their depths. Your own depth number, shown in-game, is what the calculator takes as input — no official meter-per-layer table exists.
